AHHHH!

I viewed my first reception site this past Saturday. Kelly, Shawn and I went to the Hillcrest Country Club in Hollywood, FL to check out it. They were very professional there and super nice. We got to look at the full reception and ceremony setup for a wedding that would be going on there later that day. The main room was grand. Definitely top on my list at the moment. Next I think we will be checking into the Boca Dune Country Club. They seem a little less pricey but their website gives me very little to go on.

Premature wedding anxiety

So I'll get a dress. I'll get made up all super pretty and look magazine perfect. Then... 5 minutes before it will all start...
I have this horrible thought that I'll start feeling so completely ridiculous in a wedding dress that I'll go all Hulk-like, rip it off, then walk down the isle in jeans and a t-shirt.
Yeah... that's pretty much what will happen. The courthouse looks better and better every day.

Betrothed? Me? Hahahaa

Well...it's official. Shawn proposed to me October 25th and I am ECSTATIC! Wedding plans are in the works. I'm already feeling overwhelmed in just trying to find a place to hold the ceremony and reception that isn't outrageously priced.

So for now this blog will pretty much be dedicated to Kat's Wedding Craziness. Don't fret, I'm sure it will be plenty disgruntled.

On Why I Wouldn't Want to Be You

You are absolutely gorgeous, an energetic flame twirling about in life. A fine example of a worthy soul, one whose creativity flows so lovely in the shining lights. You have friends and enemies combining into a solid force of Interesting.

And yet, I would not want to be you.
If I were you I wouldn't be me. Despite my lack of 1,000 watt luster and people wanting to know me and be me and make love to the ground my feet tread upon... I still wouldn't trade me in for you.
My thoughts and feelings are more precious to me than anything. They determine me. I am quite happy with what goes on in my head regardless if I am depressed or angered, happy or paranoid or even more probable- bonkers.
